Sometimes, friends just give me random food items.\u00a0 I guess that they want to see what I will do with them. Last year, a family friend gave me a container of French\u2019s Crispy Fried Onions so I asked my Air Fryer Facebook page readers what I should make. I ended up adding them to my air fryer baked potato recipe to make loaded baked potatoes. They were delicious.<\/p>\n\n\n

In case you need other ideas for fried onions, the readers had some great ones: green bean casserole (of course!); \u201ccrush them and use them instead of bread crumbs on chicken or shrimp or whatever you use breadcrumbs on\u201d; \u201cexcellent on a salad\u201d and \u201con burgers\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will revisit those ideas (except green bean casserole since I know that my family doesn\u2019t like that) in the future. Meanwhile, I loved the air fryer loaded baked potato with bacon, cheese and the crispy onions. They were so easy to make that I want to show you the steps visually before sharing the recipe\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
