Start by drawing the shark\u2019s top and bottom halves as shown on\u00a0glitter card stock.\u00a0Cut out the halves, then apply\u00a0tacky glue\u00a0along one side of a\u00a0clothespin\u00a0and adhere to them.

Place the shark on\u00a0waxed paper\u00a0to dry. When the glue is dry, slightly bend one tail section forward so that when the mouth opens, the tail parts smoothly pass one another. Glue on a\u00a0sequin\u00a0eye. Cut a\u00a0paper heart\u00a0(we used pinking shears to trim a \u201cbite\u201d), write your message, and glue the heart to a\u00a0treat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let your kids make these simple tomato and cheese skewers and they just might fall in love with healthy snacking. Then have your kids assemble the pieces on a toothpick as shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pretty up a paper parasol to top a sweet treat (or to slip into an envelope). Write a message on a folded strip of\u00a0paper,\u00a0then secure it around the pick, using a\u00a0glue stick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CRAFTER\u2019S TIP:<\/em><\/strong> To minimize mess, spread the glitter in a baking pan lined with waxed paper. Afterward, use the paper to funnel the glitter back into its jar (do this over the pan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
