It is a new cookbook from Stephanie Laska\u2019s DIRTY, LAZY, KETO series. (Stephanie has lost and kept off 140 pounds\/half of her body weight with her keto dishes). All of the recipes have five or less ingredients besides salt, pepper, olive oil, and a few other kitchen staples. The recipes \u2013 from snacks to desserts \u2013 are also all 10g net carbs or less per serving. I primarily like recipes with real ingredients. (I don\u2019t like most artificial sweeteners, sugar-free foods, flour substitutes and the like so I skip those recipes.) Fortunately, there are plenty of recipes with \u201cregular\u201d ingredients like this lettuce boat recipe that I am sharing below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-lettuce-boat-recipe\">Lettuce Boat Recipe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E85\">Romaine boats are surprisingly sturdy. Even when filled to the brim with cheesy queso, they still won\u2019t leak or fall apart! Perhaps due to novelty (or crunch), my kids actually prefer romaine leaves over hamburger buns. I make it a point to use them for all sorts of meals\u2014sandwiches, tacos, wraps. No matter what your age, you\u2019ll have fun filling and eating this appetizing cheeseburger boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"print-this-button-shell\">\n<button type=\"button\" class=\"print-this-button\" onClick=\"parent.location='https:\/\/mominthecity.com\/how-to-make-an-easy-keto-lettuce-boat\/?printthis=1&printsect=1'\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Print This!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/button>\n<\/div>\n<!-- Print This Section 1 Start -->\n<div class=\"print-this-content\">\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E81\"><strong>SLIP \u2019N\u2019 SLIDE QUESO BURGERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>4 (85% lean) beef burger patties<\/li><li>1 (4-ounce) can mild green chilies, drained and chopped<\/li><li>1\u20442 cup queso<\/li><li>4 large leaves of romaine lettuce<\/li><li>1 large beefsteak tomato, diced<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E116\"><strong>1. <\/strong>In a large skillet over medium heat, cook all patties 5\u20137 minutes on each side. Using a spatula, cut patties in half. Remove from pan and set aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E124\"><strong>2. <\/strong>Drain fat from skillet, add chilies, and saut\u00e9 3\u20135 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E128\"><strong>3. <\/strong>In a small microwave-safe glass bowl, microwave queso 1 minute. Stir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"E138\"><strong>4. <\/strong>Lay romaine leaves on four dinner plates and fill each with equal amounts hamburger, chilies, queso, and tomato.
