It\u2019s the end of the month(?!) In the How To Prevent Breakage And Retain Length In Natural Black Hair<\/a> post from earlier this month, I said that I would share how to do a wash and go on natural black hair. These are my stylist\u2019s instructions that I use\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How To Do a Wash and Go on Natural Black Hair<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  1. After I wash & condition my hair, I put in a leave-in conditioner. (I don\u2019t have one that I LOVE yet.)

  2. Then, I work \u00a0Aunt Jackie\u2019s Flaxseed Elongating Curling Gel<\/a>\u00a0into 1-inch size combed out sections of my hair. (Since hair patterns are most pronounced when the hair is wet, I spritz each section with my water spray bottle before working the gel through.)

  3. I use the EZ Detangler<\/a> to brush over each section of hair after I put the gel in it (to make sure that it\u2019s evenly distributed).

  4. I let my hair air dry. There will be a little \u201ccrunch\u201d after it dries. If you put a little oil in your hands and rub it through your hair, it will go away though. (I use a mixture of castor oil<\/a>\u00a0and olive oil.)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
