For Mother\u2019s Day, I received (upon request) a really great book How to Really Love Your Child<\/em> <\/span><\/strong>by <\/span>M.D. D. Ross Campbell<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In the book, Dr. Campbell teaches parents how to practically express their love to their children.\u00a0 <\/span>The chapter that challenged me the most was \u201cHow to Show Love Through Eye Contact\u201d.\u00a0 <\/span>As I read, I realized that the main times that I\u2019m focused on my son having eye contact with me is when I\u2019m trying to make sure that he\u2019s listening to what I\u2019m telling him to do (or moreso what not <\/strong>to do.)\u00a0 <\/span>I think that different moms will be challenged by different chapters.\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019ve already lent my book out to another mom friend (who also loves it and has been helped by it).\u00a0 <\/span>Although the book is written from a Christian perspective, I think that it can give practical advice to any mom.\u00a0 <\/span>Put it on hold at your local library or you can buy it at a variety of places, including www.amazon.com<\/a> .<\/span><\/p>\n
