I feel bad that I can\u2019t think of any fun gifts for my baby Sean\u2019s first birthday.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Between his older brother\u2019s toys, things that he gets due to nature of my job and the super generosity of family and friends, I\u2019m at a loss.\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019m open to suggestions\u2026
<\/span><\/p>\n

Right now, we bought a few things from Albee Baby<\/a> to be used for<\/strong> him:
<\/span>-Feeding items from Boon:<\/span><\/strong> utensils, cup and snack ball (I\u2019m not crazy about the orange color, but I love the design.)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013Maclaren Volo Stroller and Universal Organizer:<\/strong> Originally, we had received a \u201cSit and Stand\u201d stroller, but it was too HUGE.\u00a0 <\/span>After looking at, I realized that I would never use it, so we sold it on craigslist!\u00a0 <\/span>The Volo is perfect for traveling around on the bus\/trains.\u00a0 <\/span>
<\/span>-We\u2019ll get him some clothes and shoes from Stride Rite (they\u2019re the best in measuring little kid\u2019s feet).\u00a0 <\/span>That\u2019s about it.

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4\/7\/08\u00a0update: The stroller did not\u00a0look like this\u00a0(which I expected) when\u00a0I received it.\u00a0 It had a white cover instead.\u00a0 It was fine though.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

From One Step Ahead<\/a>, family is getting him (or we\u2019ll get):
<\/span><\/strong>\u2013<\/span><\/strong>Frog Pod Bath Toy Holder<\/span><\/strong>: Our bathtub is becoming rubber toy central.\u00a0 <\/span>It needs some order!

<\/span>4\/7\/08\u00a0update: I read reviews about this product and the biggest complaint was that the suction cups didn\u2019t work\/ it kept falling down.\u00a0 At the recommendation of a friend (a Mom in the City\u2019s husband) who has the product, I purchased two suction cups to use instead of the ones provided.\u00a0 I haven\u2019t had any problems with falling.\u00a0 The ones that I used can be found at <\/strong>http:\/\/www.oogalights.com\/Giant-Suction-Cup-Wreath-Holder.aspx<\/a>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013Secure Transitions Baby Tub<\/span><\/strong>: This is a great inflatable bath tub that sits in the larger bath.\u00a0 <\/span>We had one for our older son Michael until he and\/or his dad made a hole in it.\u00a0 <\/span>Sean is so <\/strong>excited about the big tub.\u00a0 <\/span>He can\u2019t wait to get in there!
4\/7\/08\u00a0update: I\u2019m so disappointed with this item.\u00a0 We had the same (or a similar) one with our older son, but this one just won\u2019t inflate (you have to do a portion of it by mouth only and the other portion by mouth or low pressure pump)!\u00a0 As much \u201cair\u201d as we have, I can\u2019t believe that we can\u2019t inflate this tub?!\u00a0 Although I usually LOVE One Step Ahead\u2019s product, I don\u2019t recommend this one.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So, as you can see, there\u2019s nothing especially fun for Sean this year.\u00a0 <\/span>I guess that I should just enjoy this birthday when he doesn\u2019t really understand or care.\u00a0 <\/span>Soon enough, he\u2019ll have his lists of things that he wants.\u00a0 <\/span>I should know\u2026Michael\u2019s fourth birthday is next month and I would need to win the lottery AND get a bigger place in order to get everything on his list (and I\u2019m only slightly<\/strong> exaggerating!).<\/span><\/p>\n
