Since I passed Meatball Obsession and their \u201ccomfort to go\u201d meatballs on my way to the train station one night, I have been a little \u201cobsessed\u201d with meatballs. So, when Suzy Sirloin<\/a> sent me a sampler box of a variety of their meats to review, I knew exactly what I would do with their gourmet meatloaf\/meatball mix\u2026make meatballs<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

First, let me share a bit about Suzy Sirloin. \u00a0The creator of the line is Suzanne \u201cSuzy\u201d Strassburger, a fifth-generation member of the New York Strassburger Meats family. Noting that people are more health-conscious, she formed Suzy Sirloin to provide a variety of lean, natural meat products. (For my GF friends, their turkey sliders are even gluten free.) I\u2019ll admit that I was a little skeptical to try out their products at first, because sometimes natural = taste challenged in my experience. I didn\u2019t need to worry though. I used the products in my sampler package just like I would use any other meat. The taste was consistently equal to (and even better than \u2013 in the case of the pork) what I normally purchase. Delicious taste without having to be concerned about unnecessary hormones or antibiotic equals a win in my book! In any event, you can buy Suzy Sirloin products at tri-state area grocery stores and sampler boxes can be ordered online and home-delivered.<\/p>\n

The kids enjoyed the beef and turkey sliders the most while Reggie\u2019s top pick was the pork chops. As for me, the beef, pork and veal blend found in their \u201cGourmet Meatloaf & Meatball Mix\u201d was my absolute favorite. I used one to make my \u201cgo to\u201d meatloaf<\/a>. (I just used the mixture as the meat instead of beef.) It was also so good that it inspired me to come up with a new recipe\u2026<\/p>\n
