Until the line to wait for cronuts in NYC eases up, I will stick to good old doughnuts!\u00a0 Yesterday, I was at a Content Creators event at the offices of Google New York and they served some AMAZING donuts by Dough Brooklyn. <\/p>\n\n\n

One of the event hostesses mentioned that they had made a special visit to Gourmet Guild Williamsburg<\/a> to get the treats. After a little research, I learned that Gourmet Guild purchases their doughnuts from another Brooklyn company \u2013 Dough<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will just say that these were some of the best doughnuts that I have ever tasted. I ate two of the handmade lemon glazed ones before I forced myself to stop\u2026although the beautiful burgundy black current and peanut brittle\u00a0ones tried to tempt me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obviously, I\u2019m not the only one singing Dough\u2019s praise. In fact, the Village Voice<\/i> named Dough doughnuts as the best doughnuts in New York for 2012. Passion fruit and dulce de leche are two flavors that consistently receive raves. I will have to try them the next time.\u00a0 In any event, you can find these \u201cgourmet\u201d doughnuts at either of the two places below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
