If you are not aware of Bren\u00e9 Brown <\/cite>or TED Talks<\/a> yet, remedy that immediately. Bren\u00e9 Brown, a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, has spent a decade studying the topic of vulnerability. TED Talks are video taped talks from some of the world\u2019s most brilliant people from a variety of fields\u2026and they are shared for FREE<\/strong> online. I love them. When I\u2019m folding laundry, I have to \u201celevate\u201d the experience by either listening to my favorite music or listening to educational, inspiring audio or video messages in the background\u2026 like TED Talks. What can I say? It helps me not to hate laundry! Whatever works\u2026<\/p>\n

Bren\u00e9 Brown\u2019s TED Talk on \u201c<\/em>The power of vulnerability\u201d is especially inspiring. If you are like me (the \u201cstrong one\u201d\u2026even during the times when you\u2019re not<\/strong><\/span> feeling particularly strong), you MUST take the time to see this video. I have been talking about it with girlfriends and we all agree that it is one of those \u201cconversations\u201d that change your mindset (and your life view) in a positive way\u2026if you allow it to do so.\u00a0 You\u2019re welcome \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
