A friend recently came up to me and said, \u201cSomeone (a mutual friend) advised me to get help from you regarding balancing my schedule since I have so much going on. I hear that you are a time management guru.<\/strong><\/em>\u201d I laughed and told her that someone had lied to her. I am not a \u201cguru\u201d\u2026and time management is really a bit of a myth. In reality, it is more about self-management based on personal priorities.<\/p>\n

The thing that I love about time is that it is democratic. We all have the same 525,600 minutes in a (non-leap) year.<\/strong> We get to choose what we do with ourselves in those minutes to a large degree. As such, I was able to sit down with that friend and help her come up with a schedule that works for her life. Once she became clear about her priorities, it was relatively simple. We needed to delete a couple of things and bunch together some others but we made time for all of her high priority tasks within a given week.<\/p>\n

It is my hope that this site will help you to find practical ways to make time to live the life of YOUR dreams\u2026based on YOUR priorities (not mine).
