\nMy family took a media visit to Ripley\u2019s Believe It or Not! Times Square to see the museum\u2019s new exhibits and art installations. One of my 9 year-old son\u2019s friends had spooked him about Ripley\u2019s before our visit. As such, we expected it to be especially gross and scary. It wasn\u2019t. The museum is odd, but not particularly scary\u2026as you can see in this short photo and video clip combination that we shot:\n

The top 3 highlights for the Coleman family at the museum were the following: <\/p>\n

1. Getting our heads shrunk at the Amazonian Makeover exhibit<\/p>\n

2. Dancing in a sea of fluorescent lights in the \u201cRecollections\u201d exhibit <\/p>\n

3. Losing our balance as we walked across the \u201cblack hole\u201d bridge that seemed like it was moving\u2026but it really wasn\u2019t!<\/p>\n

In any event, Ripley\u2019s is declaring now through September 8, 2013 the \u201cOddest Summer on Record\u201d. Stop by to see the odd (not super scary!) exhibits and art installations.
