Cold & Flu Season Has Arrived

And it has arrived full force in my town of Green Bay. We have had schools closing due to large amounts of the student body reporting flu like symptoms along with an outbreak in my own home. I spent the entire week of the 11th-18th of October nursing not only myself but all three of my children and my husband back to good health. It began with my oldest Zman having a fever, headache and body aches (and 1 episode of vomiting) on Sunday and by Thursday evening, we were all inflicted. Even after scrubbing down the house with bleach and every disinfectant known to man kind, tissues, Tylenol, hand sanitizer and clean bedding for everyone, I was not able to prevent from spreading in our home but have kept it from coming back.
The biggest thing you can do to prevent yourself and your family from getting the dreaded cold or the god awful flu is WASH YOUR HANDS 
and COVER YOUR MOUTH 
when you cough. Those two things can NOT be done ENOUGH! Those two things are the most important factor in safeguarding yourself and family from getting and/or spreading those nasty germs!
Should you happen to be hit by either of these afflictions I suggest plenty of rest and fluids and try to stay away from others.

As of Friday my sons teacher said there were 6 kids out sick. I heard rumors that they were talking about closing school but Monday they had an article in the paper saying Algoma was not going to close down. So who knows. I heard there is over 100 kids out sick between the highschool and elementary school.
