This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Mary Sue!
I have finally completed my first assignment as a Soft Scrub Club Captain. A few weeks ago, I received a bottle of the soon to be released Soft Scrub Bath & Bowl Cleaner.
I have to admit, I was excited to try it out, but I had to wait until the perfect time to put it to the test.
You see, my bathroom is a challenge to begin with.
Why?
Because I have 1 adult male, 1 tween male, 1 toddler male, 1 tween daughter and myself.
Not to mention the part where my Hardworking Hubby makes paint. And we’re not talking make your walls purdy paint. He makes corrosion resistant products specializing in high performance coatings, linings, and fireproofing. So yeah, $100 a gallon paint. Paint that is NOT easy to remove. My hubby has been known, from time to time, to spill paint on both the floor and himself while at work. Which means he washes it off at home. In my tub/shower. And let me tell you, it’s one helluva chore to clean up!
Overall, I really like this product. You can use it as a spray, as foam and you can even spray the bottle when it is turned completely upside down. Another great thing about it is that it can replace all the bathroom cleaners you currently use leaving with only 1 to do the job. It’s safe for the sink, counter, tub, shower and toilet.
The only downfall for me was that it wasn’t as abrasive as a typical Soft Scrub product which helps to remove the build up in our tub, but again, the mess in our tub is not like tubs in other households.
Now, I also received a coupon for a FREE bottle of Soft Scrub Bath & Bowl Cleaner in addition to the free bottle I already have and I have decided to share the wealth and give my coupon away to one of my readers.
So, if you want to try out the New Soft Scrub Bath & Bowl Cleaner all you need to do is leave a comment below telling me why you would like to try this product.
This contest begins on February 9th 2010 and ends on Febraury 23rd 2010 and 12:00 PM CST. The winner will be chosen using Random.org.

I was first introduced to Army Wives on a trip to my local library. After searching through the free DVD rental section, I stumbled across season 1. After being sucked in, I continued to watch season 2 as it aired on Lifetime. Unfortunately, I was not able to keep up when season 3 aired due to financial constraints, we had removed cable from growing list of bills.
Then, I was given this great opportunity to review Season 3 of Army Wives!
So, this weekend, that is exactly what I did.
I watched every darn episode.
And.
O.M.G.
I loved it.
I am stunned.
I laughed.
I cried.
Who am I kidding….
I bawled like a 2 year old.
It was so darn good.
Now, I am anxiously awaiting the premiere of Season 4.
After I watched the finale (and OHMAHGAWD if you haven’t seen it, run out and buy Season 3 tomorrow when it comes out!!!) I wiped away my tears, took a moment to collect myself and then played around with the special features that it includes, such as:
• Bloopers
• Deleted Scenes
• Six Webisodes – Featuring Joan and Roland Burton and Jeremy Sherwood
• Stationed In The South – The cast and crew of Army Wives take us behind the scenes in the
historical city of Charleston, South Carolina, and show us how the city’s scenic landscape is
integrated into the show.
• Army Wives Gives Back – Lifetime and The Army Wives team up to surprise deserving military
families.
Watching the bloopers REALLY helped lighten the mood!
All I can say is if you haven’t seen Season 3 and are planning on picking it up, I STRONGLY recommend getting yourself a few boxes of Kleenex as well!

We also enjoyed the great Bonus Features such as the Disney’s Adventure Mode – an interactive game using the remote control with multiple play

The episodes weren’t too long and my toddler was entranced with each one.

I’m guessing if you have a daughter ages 7-15, chances are pretty good that you have heard of the infamous Jonas Brothers. Around here, the Jo Bros are a common household name. Having a 9.5 year old daughter who loves all things Disney, including the Jonas Bothers, she was more than thrilled to review this DVD.
This DVD includes 7 episodes of the I ♥ JONAS original Disney series and some great bonus features, including magnets decked out with photos of the Jo Bros (which have been carefully placed on our refrigerator thanks to the 9.5 year old Jo Bro fanatic!). Aside from the magnets, the bonus features also include the You’ve Just Been JoBro’d in which the boys surprise Jordin Sparks!
It was a lot of fun to watch these episodes with my daughter and see the antics the Jonas boys are up to once again.
A great gift for the JoBro fan in your family!

The Boys Are Back starring Clive Owen is a tale of a father and son who strengthen their relationship after the death of a wife and mother. This is Clive Owen in a role unlike any he has done before. His character Joe Warr has always been an on the go Dad due to his work as a sportswriter leaving his relationship with his son strained. After the death of his wife, he is left to care for and raise his son. Then, his older son hops a plane and joins him and 7 year old Artie leaving him to get a real feel for parenthood.
Overall, I thought his was a really good movie. It started off a little slow and sad but did grab my attention. I loved watching a true bond form between a father and his sons.
The DVD also has great bonus features such as a Photographic Journey, taking views behind the making of the film and also a glance into the life of Simon Carr whose life inspired this film in, A Father & Two Sons, on Set featuring Simon Carr and his real-life sons.

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Lisa!
The Drops is a great new product that attacks odors and eliminates it instead of allowing it to linger in your bathroom, your friends bathroom or the public restroom you’ve just used.
If you’re anything like me, you find public restrooms scary and sometimes offensive by odors that can almost knock you out the minute you hit the door.
The great thing about The Drops is that it comes in a small, discreet, pocket size bottle and it’s easy to use.
(And yes, I really did test it out!)
Here’s how it works:
Step 1
Add 3 or 4 of The Drops to the toilet bowl water immediately before using the toilet.
Step 2
The scientific formula interacts with the toilet water and creates a barrier on the surface.
Step 3
The odor is trapped before the smell enters the air.
Step 4
A fresh Lavender or Citrus Bubble scent fills the air as the odor is trapped beneath the barrier.

The Drops is available in both Lavender and Citrus scents for $6.99 and is available on The Drops website.
Now, here’s the best part!
I have 1 Citrus Scent and 1 Lavender Scent full size bottle of the drops to giveaway. 2 My Mommy Reviews readers will win a bottle of The Drops Toilet Odor Eliminator!

I recently had the pleasure of reading the Healing Sands A Sullivan Crisp Novel By Nancy Rue and Stephen Arterburn thanks to the good people at BookSneeze formally known as Thomas Nelson Book Reviews.
Now, Faith based books are not the norm for me but since I stumbled upon a few great reads in this category last year, I have really taken to them.
This book in particular was an extremely great read. It did take me a while to get through due to my everyday life but I read during every chance I had. If you can relate to a woman who has gone through a divorce, had both of her children move in with their father and leave her relationship with her children bumpy, than this is the book for you. Now, I have not experienced these things, but I have experienced the life of a single mom so I still related to a lot of the story.
It was an easy read, with a great story line and very easy to get sucked into! I loved how each character had a story of their own to tell and how their lives all intertwined.
After reading this book, I will definitely continue reading other Sullivan Crisp Novels.
If you would like to check this book out you can find it on Amazon.
